Only Jesus can

We are all related, brothers and stranger,

the king and the beggar,

the rich and the poor,

the doctor and the patient,

the warden and the prison inmate.

Yes we are all related. We all bleed the same. We all have a sickness, a terminal condition. See the eyes of millions looking for healing in a million other places, yet ONLY ONE PLACE CAN SAVE US AND CHANGE OUR CONDITION. THAT PLACE, NAME AND PERSON IS JESUS. Acts 4: 12

Lead me

Precious Lord, take my handLead me on, let me stand

I’m tired, I’m weak, I’m lone

Through the storm, through the night

Lead me on to the light

Take my hand precious Lord, lead me home
When my way grows drear precious Lord linger near

When my light is almost gone

Hear my cry, hear my call

Hold my hand lest I fall

Take my hand precious Lord, lead me home
When the darkness appears and the night draws near

And the day is past and gone

At the river I stand

Guide my feet, hold my hand

Take my hand precious Lord, lead me home. Amen

God won’t let you down

One of the many things you will in time come to know about God is HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN. Sometimes it might seem like He did, but with time you will come to the knowledge He didn’t because everything you ever went through or will go through, was all in the plan to get you to the place of breakthrough. 1 Corinth 10: 13

Don’t forget

Have you forgotten it is your father who tells the sun when to rise and the moon when to sleep?Have you forgotten He gives the wind it’s breath and swings a door open and moves when you least expect?

Have you forgotten with Him the impossible becomes possible?

If you haven’t forgotten, then Don’t GIVE UP ON YOUR MIRACLE. Pray till your breakthrough breaks through. 1 Thess 5:17

This is a job for Jesus

Our story can be found in the book of the gospel of mark 5.The story begins with Jesus on his way to the home of Jairus a synagogue official. Though he was a man of significance and a person of means, but that notwithstanding his means and significance could not get him through what he was going through. You too, need to know, that your significance and means can only get you out of certain troubles, but definitely not out of every struggle.
So he ran to Jesus and Jesus responded. You see dearly beloved, Jesus does not respond to us on the basis of our means, but he responds to us on the basis of our need and faith and for Jairus, he was in need and walked by faith. Hence the response of Jesus. His beloved daughter was sick and in need of healing. She was in need of mending because she was broken by an infirmity.

It is difficult for everyone to really understand the plight and anxiety of Jairus. But many parents will, because a lot of fathers and mothers have been at that point and place where Jairus found himself. Restless and broken watching as the life of your beautiful child slips away from your grip into the waiting hands of a sickness and even death.
Jairus runs in to a problem. He was facing a brick wall and was so troubled.
Over the years he was able to do a lot of things. He did this; he did that, and was able to handle the other one. But today he found himself in a problem he could not fix, and after trying all he could he came to the conclusion this was a job for Jesus.
Could you today be trying to do what Jesus should be doing? Are you trying to fix the problem Jesus should be fixing? Are you trying to take his place?
Whenever you go in to a problem beyond the abilities of man, do not throw your hands up in the air, giving up and thinking this is. This is the end of the journey.
Just because man cannot do it doesn’t mean it can’t be done.
Remember this is a job for Jesus. As you go in to the week and are faced with challenges beyond your comprehension, set-backs beyond your understanding and have tried all you know how and it still doesn’t seem to work, remember this is a job for Jesus.
Just because the doctors couldn’t, doesn’t mean it can’t be done.
Just because the lawyers wouldn’t, doesn’t mean it can’t be done
Just because you’re running out of time doesn’t mean it can’t be done.
Just because your are all-alone with no one to run to, no one to look up to, doesn’t mean it cant be done.

FINAL WORDS: Don’t think God has abandoned you. Just like Jairus, call upon Him and he will be there for you. He will bless you and put songs of praise and laughter in your mouth. Remember this is a job for Jesus.

Our weakness our strength

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness”.

God is there for you no matter what you go through. Sometimes we question why we are weak. But Scriptures say show can we see his strength when we are strong ourselves. It is when we get weak that we invite him to show us his strength and support.

4 reasons to face the new year without fear

God’s Word brings us a comforting promise, along with an insightful command as we face a new year: “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, I will not fear what man shall do unto me” (Hebrews 13:5-6).We can live this coming year without fear if we apply these four incredibly wonderful truths to our lives and root

1. The Contentment of His Provision

Contentment is not getting what you want, but it is wanting what you already have. 1 Timothy 6:6-8 says, “But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us therewith be content.” If you know Jesus Christ, you have contentment. If you’ve got clothes on your back, something to eat, and Jesus Christ in your heart, you’re rich!

Do you know why we have fear? Because we think our needs or the needs of someone we love are not going to be met. Or we fear that the things we think are meeting our needs are going to be taken away from us. The deepest need of your heart can only be met in the Lord Jesus Christ.
2. The Companionship of His Presence

I don’t know what I’m going to face next year. But there’s one thing I know, He will never leave me. Are you a child of God? He will never leave you either. Isn’t that wonderful!

What’s another reason we may fear in the coming year? Because we’re afraid we’re going to have to face something we don’t understand, and we’re going to have to face it alone.

When God’s Word promises that God will never forsake you, it literally means that He will never abandon you. He will not give up on you. We need to practice the presence of the Lord this coming year. When the devil comes and knocks at you heart’s door, you can simply say, “Jesus, please go answer the door.”

3. The Confidence of His Promise

We’re going to zero in on a little phrase in our verses in Hebrews, “He hath said.” A promise is no better than the one who makes it. Who says, “I will never leave thee nor forsake thee”? It is the omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent God. This is the confidence of His promise.

In the coming year, when you say, “God, I just don’t have the strength.” The omnipotent God will answer, “I will never leave thee nor forsake thee.” When you say, “God, I’m afraid of what is going to happen.” The omnipresent God says, “I will never leave thee nor forsake thee.” And when you say, “God, I don’t know what to do.” The omniscient God will respond, “I will never leave thee nor forsake thee.” He himself hath said it.

4. The comfort of His protection.

Hebrews 13:6 promises, “So that we may boldly say, the Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.” Now, put that with verse 5, which says, “He hath said.”  Like I said earlier, I don’t know what you’re going to go through this coming year. But I know you can boldly say, “The Lord is my helper, so I will not fear what man shall do to me.” When you find your contentment, companionship, and confidence in Jesus. Then, you’ll find your comfort and courage in Jesus.

We serve a God who by his power created the universe. He merely spoke the universe into being-a universe that astronomers estimate contains more than 100 billion galaxies. But all the power contained in this entire universe is but a small representation of the unlimited power of God. The combined energy of all earth’s storms, winds, ocean waves, and other forces of nature do not equal even a fraction of God’s almighty power. God is great. God is wonderful. God is powerful.

He can do anything and can help you with everything. He can do what doctors and medicine cannot do. Nothing can limit God and no matter what people have spoken over you, when God says YES, no one can say no. Your education, background and family cannot stop or limit God. He is beyond limit.

Something else you need to know is God knows the end from the beginning (Is 46: 10). He already has solutions to problems you have not even had. In Matt 7: 7, He commands us to ask and we shall receive and John 14: 14, reminds us God can do anything.

I know sometimes you have had it very rough and tough. You face closed doors and can’t find any opportunity, with people getting in the way and trying to push you down, denying you what is rightly yours. The good news is God can change all of that. I know He will lift you up. He will take you where you could not go on your own (Is 58: 14). You don’t have to figure out how it will all happen. You just have to believe. I know sometimes it can be very hard to believe, but just believe. That is all He seeks. (Matt 21: 22). When you believe, all things are possible (Mark 11: 23). When you believe, change takes place. When you believe, limits are broken.

Believe God to bless the month of JUNE.
