How do you spend time?

If you want to experience God’s best, stay focused on Him and on the things that are truly important. There will always be a thousand interesting and even worthwhile things to fill up your time, but there’s a good chance that most of those things will not help you live the best life that God has planned for you. There are many other activities you could get involved in that may be good in themselves; but if you try to do everything, you’ll wind up being average at a lot of things and not excellent at anything! Those who are living their best life now have their priorities in order. They make time for key relationships. People are God’s most precious creation and should be important in your life. Make sure to do what it takes to share quality time with those God has placed around you.

Our Protector

Remember God does not run from a fight. He neither sleeps nor slumber. That means your protection is certain. Your protection is constant. Your protector strong, powerful and always there. Don’t mind when a few distractions like ill health, lack, anxiety, fear, come it. Don’t mind. Every human experiences it at some point, BUT it does not last always. It always stops and that’s because your God is truly God. So when you face a period of anxiety, remember God is still on the throne and He won’t let it continue. He will change things to change your situation.

Like most people at this time of year, you are probably thinking about some pretty big dreams and goals. That’s great. We should. But no matter what has happened in the past or what you’re dreaming for in the future, why don’t you let your New Year’s prayer be, “God, not my will, but Yours be done.”

Maybe you have been through a disappointment. You don’t understand it. You could easily be bitter and give up on your dreams. Realize today that God is at work in your life. He is directing your steps. What you thought was a setback is going to turn out to be a setup for a comeback! When you surrender your will to Him, when you humble yourself before Him, that’s when God can take you to another level. Let your prayer be, “Not my will, but Yours be done.”

As 2015 begins to unfold, know that God has you in the palm of His hand. He has good plans in store for you. As you surrender to His will, trusting Him with your whole heart, He will order your steps in the New Year.
