He is with us

In scripture, Jesus was called by many names according to His attributes. In Matthew 1: 23, He is called Emmanuel, which means God with us. He is not far away; He is looking down on us; He is closer than the air we breathe. That means you never have to be alone or feel afraid. You never have to wonder where God is! But, we have to do our part. In the natural, you can have someone sitting right next to you and never really know them. It is the same way with God. We have to take time to acknowledge Him as Lord and talk to Him throughout the day. When you draw near to God, He will draw near to you.

Today, take some time to meditate on this verse. Be aware of His presence around you. Praise Him and thank Him for being Emmanuel — God with us!

dont conclude yet

Don’t conclude yet “Then Abram said, “Look, You have given me no offspring; indeed one born in my house is my heir!” And behold, the word of the LORD came to him, saying, “This one shall not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body shall be your heir.”” (Genesis 15:3-4). If you have decided to believe God, then don’t mind waiting. Delay does not mean you are no longer in His agenda. Just keep believing, don’t stop waiting . If God gave you a word of promise concerning an issue, then be rest assured that He will surely bring it to manifestation. Abraham the father of faith went through diverse phases in his faith walk with God and there was a time when he had already concluded that fatherhood is not meant for him. But God corrected him immediately. Its bad when people make certain conclusions concerning you but its more terrible if you are the one concluding on yourself. God is not through with you so don’t be hasty in making wrong conclusion about yourself or your situations. This year is not over yet so should not mind waiting on the Lord . Prayer: Monarch of the universe I thank you for every word of promises you have made to me. I ask for the grace and strength to keep waiting on you till my desired change comes in Jesus name. Amen

joy reloaded

Do you know it is God’s will for you to be joyful always? He wants you to be happy. He wants you to love your life no matter what your circumstances look like. In fact, when you have joy in the midst of difficult circumstances, that is evidence that you have faith and trust that God will bring you through.

Joy is strength. Joy is power. When you have His supernatural joy, you can stand strong no matter what’s going on around you. You might say, “I am not a jovial person. I am more serious. I never laugh much.” And of course, God made us all differently, but you can train yourself to laugh more. One article said the average child laughs over 200 times a day, but the average adult only laughs 4 times a day. The question now is what is happening? Why have we allowed the pressures of life, stress and more responsibilities, little by little, steal our joy?

During this advent period, make as part of your preparation a decision today to get your joy back. Decide that you are going to look beyond your problems and look at what God will do on your behalf. Ask Him every day to fill you with peace and joy so that you can live in His strength and victory all the days of your life.

Have An Attitude Of Gratitude

Redbird's Roost

“Give thanks to the LORD and proclaim His
greatness.
Let the whole earth know what He has
done.
Sing to Him; yes, sing His praises.
Tell everyone about His wonderful deeds.
Exult in His holy name;
rejoice, you who worship the LORD.
Search for the LORD and for His strength;
continually seek Him.
Remember the wonders He has performed,
His miracles, and the rulings He has
given. . .
Let the whole earth sing to the LORD!
Each day proclaim the good news that
He saves.
Publish His glorious deeds among the
nations.
Tell everyone about the amazing things
He does.
Great is the LORD! He is most worthy of
praise!
He is to be feared above all gods.
The gods of other nations are mere idols,
but the LORD made the heavens!
Honor and majesty surround Him;
strength and joy fill His dwelling. . .
Let the heavens be…
